Re: evil giants?
Mon, November 13, 2006 - 10:20 PMHi Feralkittycat...
I heard some of it. It was pretty interesting. I'd like to check into his research more. All that talk of apcolypse stuff freaks me out, though. I'm not into that idea at all. It doesn't seem very helpful to the planet to base "one's" world-view on people being tortured & killed because they don't believe in something at a certain point in time in the future. I'm not into that morbid visualizing of the future. I'd rather think that someday we will evolve into something better. Some of his ideas seemed fairly concise & I'd like to look ito it further.
PS- I like cats, too. I have a part Bengal (who knew?) tabby boy. -

Re: evil giants?
Tue, November 14, 2006 - 2:58 PMI think he's only a small part Bengal. He LOVES anything to do with water just shy of jumping in. He also fetches. He used to do it alot when he was a kitten/cat-let. You could throw some tin foil ball or a cat toy & he'd bring it back, like, 20 times. He's a more "mature" kitty now - so he's not into it as much. He's really, really affectionate but he doesn't like to be held. They took him away from his mother too soon so he sucks his paw when he gets comfy. He doesn't meow alot except when he thinks he's home alone. He does have a bit of "glitter" to his fur which is supposed to be a Bengal trait. He's very muscular for a tabby (I think they call them "livingroom leopards"). I have a photo of him on my bio page...
Sorry for diverting the topic. It's a cat thing... -

Tue, November 14, 2006 - 3:04 PMAlso- he does have alot of dog traits, too. They call Bengals "the man's cat" - I guess that means they are like dogs... The cat can spend hours playing really vigorously. My boyfriend (who got him) really likes dogs but we can't have one since we live in an appartment (I've always been a cat person). I guess he found the right cat (we didn't know he was a Bengal at first). He does act like a small dog sometimes. He sniffs the carpet like a hound dog, lately. It's kind of funny.

Tue, November 14, 2006 - 4:02 PMtalk about cat obsession zone... have you looked at my profile?
that amazing glitter bengals have on their fur is so beautiful... when the light hits their coat just right it's this almost holographic rainbow effect... impossible to describe - you just have to see it...
bengals and savannahs have become so trendy and popular... unfortunately most people don't realize what they are getting when they acquire one of these cats... full-blood bengals and savannahs are almost as much work as having a human baby around sometimes... not the kind of cat to get if you just want a couchwarmer and a snuggler... they DEMAND attention and time... but so worth it if you have that to give...
