Who the hell is this Ian Punnett guy? I think I heard him doing C2C only once, and he was *totally* softballing his guest on Masonry and the Templars.

So we've got Bell whitewashing 9/11 and this Punnett schmuck whitewashing Masonry. Hope Noory can hang in there. They need to get Rense as a host.

Actually I listened last night and he was pretty technical. I sort of enjoyed it to be honest. But ofcourse, no Art Bell though.

Well, no. That goes without saying. He is a different sort of host, who brings different skills or "gifts" as it were. Art is Art, and will always be in the "rareified air." Ian is, I think, a good interviewer, who doesn't shy away from his knowledge of Christianity (he's a seminarian, for heavens' sakes!) Nor does he shy away from being very "real" with guests. The more I listen to George Noory, though, the more I find problems with him. Perhaps it's because Ian and Art are only on once each per week, while George is on the other five.

I kinda like Ian. Give him a chance. All in all I find him to be one of the more thorough interviewers, with George Noory coming in dead last. The Da Vinci Code tours are a major strike against him, but he's really grown on me.

I'd agree with all of that. Noory is a 'crackpot' interviewer. Fair and square. But then again if you are on air for 5 hours each week day, you will undoubtedly be interviewing a lot of crackpots. I think he's got the hardest job of them all.

There are only so many qualified guests out there after all.

Art Bell softball interviews Ben Chertoff, cousin to Homeland Security director Michael Chertoff, and (conveniently) 25-year old "senior researcher" of Popular Mechanics' story "Debunking the Lies of 9/11."

        Noory interviews Alex Jones.

        'Nuff said?

As entertaining (and occasionally interesting) as spooks and UFOs are, there are currently more pressing issues at hand, and Bell would rather focus on UFOs or give positive exposure to someone like Chertoff, than help expose what's going on, as Noory has by interviewing individuals like Alex Jones. Art Bell is a tool.

Good point. I wish Noory would have MORE of the cutting edge stuff. The 9/11 roundtable was a bit of a free for all, but then, when you put anyone up against Alex Jones it becomes a free for all. I like Alex, but a little goes a long way.
