... there are so many people who really dislike george and i don't get it...

i'm sure it was tough on longtime listeners who found the switch from art to george difficult... it is a different show with george than with art...

but the way they talk about george is so dismissive... they are kind of mean about it... and i find it hard to understand why... george is such a gentle and open-minded host... he shows real compassion towards everyone and his positive outlook can be very encouraging when the show gets into the heavy and kind of scary stuff...

i suppose i kind of feel like i want to defend george a little bit on the boards but the haters on there are kind of mean and dismissive... i have to say i am a little disappointed about the snarkiness of the community there...
