Art Bell announced a story about a Professor Sam Chang & "junk DNA". He said the Human Genome Project found "alien" DNA in the so-called junk DNA in our chromosomes. This story is fabricated & a bunch of BS. I checked it out on the internet & there wasn't anything "scientific" to verify this story. There's no such scientist at the Human Genome Project. I wonder why he read it on his show on Sunday 1-14-07?

Re: Professor Sam Chang & "junk DNA"...
Tue, January 16, 2007 - 3:05 PMyou know, the whole time this story was being discussed - and it was discussed several times throughout the evening - all i could think was, "wait a minute - if this is actually a true story wouldn't it be all over the news?" it just didn't seem right somehow...
i was also way less than impressed with his guests that night - the couple from santa monica that saw all this shit over their apartment... even art seemed really annoyed with them... and i thought that was odd... i mean, doesn't art vett who he is going to talk to? wouldn't he have weeded them out if they weren't exaclty up to par? the whole show was strange...
you could tell he was "in a mood" that night too...
perhaps shit is going down that we don't know about? maybe he's having a bit of a rethink about his life and his work? i don't know... art just seems to be losing it these days... publicly...
might be interesting to watch which way the wind blows with him....
poor airyn... i worry for her...

Re: Professor Sam Chang & "junk DNA"...
Tue, January 16, 2007 - 11:29 PMIt's odd. He mentioned the story a couple of times. It was pretty easy to see it's a fake story someone made up if you look into it. A few years ago, someone in Australia came up with this idea & then I guess someone else took the ball & ran with it.

Alien message 'may be in our DNA'
Sydney
09 August 2004 09:03
Forget waiting for ET to call -- the most likely place to find an alien message is in our DNA, according to an expert in Australia.
Professor Paul Davies, from the Australian Centre for Astrobiology at Macquarie University in Sydney, believes a cosmic greeting card could have been left in every human cell.
The coded message would only be discovered once the human race had the technology to read and understand it.
Writing in New Scientist magazine, Davies said the idea should be considered seriously...

Maybe the weather was getting to him & the power failure? I saw that website with the CA couple who research crop circles & UFOs a while back. I was into researching crop circles for a bit. I don't know about all their info (?)... Some people do see UFOs more often than others. I think some people can see them even though they may be camoflaged from most "regular" people. Cameras don't have minds so the lens can see them if they are pointed in the right direction. You & I may not be able to see it, though. It could just be BS, too. Seems like there are UFOs & other life forms out there even though I haven't seen them. I don't know if I'd want to see them - especially the ones with the anal probes! ;-O

Re: Professor Sam Chang & "junk DNA"...
Sun, January 28, 2007 - 8:09 PMI think it's the same stuff that's already been circulating. I think if it were true there'd be alot more info about it on the web.
