I dare say that one could find material on those researcher's sites that mocks GWB! By the way, I can do self-censorship by turning the dial or shutting off the radio. I don't need a nanny. Dr. Deagle is not simply a radio show host and researcher, he is a former insider and now whistleblower. <br/> <br/>Deagle was scheduled to appear multiple times on C2C in a series of presentations. He was replaced by Katherine Albrecht (spychips, RFID, implants, national ID, etc) as the guest. She did a great job and was far more biblical in her presentation than i have ever heard before. I believe that was in deference to Dr. Deagle. So Kudos to her. <br/> <br/>Regardless of what one may personally think of Dr. Deagle, his info, or style, i think George Noory (not withstanding that he may have been pressured by Clear Channel and FOX network affilates which are owned by the Carlyle Group) was wrong to cancel and censor Dr. Deagle. If he was pressured by these people, he should have the guts to say it. C2C listeners are generally very openminded, which is the reason for it's longevity and continued success. <div>so who else was listening thurs night/morning... the demon guy from the week before who had been too sick to appear finally got on with george... from what i heard i came to understand that this dude had written a letter to coast's producer about how he communicates with demons... something about this dude's manner and way of speaking was setting off strange alarm bells for me... i don't want to say he was a kook but he just gave me a "watch it" vibe... something kind of unprofessional about him... but what really got to me was when george brought up the business about who was more vulnerable to demons and what could those vulnerable do about it and this guy started to go off that the more materialistic one is the more protected one is from demons... that those people who are more spiritually evolved have a great vulnerablity and that if one really wants to protect themself one would be better off spending all your time thinking about money and the acquisition of it and ignoring the spiritual realm... as he was explaining this i got a definite "WHAT THE FUCK?" feeling... and george was definitely feeling it too... he basically tried to question the dude into explaining this line of reasoning but the more the dude said, the worse it sounded... then it was time for a top of the hour break and when we got back the guest had just POOF! disappeared - no schilling his website, no plugging a book or a dvd... and then george opened up the lines for two hours of "demon" calls... and the calls were pretty dark and disturbing... and then we had the creepy atomic clock incident... by 1am i had to turn coast off cos i was so freaked out and kinda scared by the show (and i haven't had to turn off a coast in MONTHS due to fear) <br/> <br/>then last night george made a special effort to keep things light with the laughter show... i think that's why i adore george so much... it is really important to him to make the show something serious and educational and he doesn't try to shy away from the darkness and the things that are disturbing and scary but at the same time he isn't interested in making the show something that makes you feel powerless and afraid... when it all went pear-shaped on thursday night he obviously worked hard to bring the light back into the show... he didn't ask for jokes or anything like that - he was most interested in what brought people the kind of unstoppable joy that hard laughter brings - the science of it and the stories behind it... it was the perfect antiode to what had happened the night before... i don't mean to be a big george ass-kisser or anything but i really have to say i admire who george seems to be as a human being and about as responsible of a host as anybody could be... he takes the idea of the coast to coast family very seriously and i think it is a really admirable thing... <br/> <br/>i would, however, like to know what exactly went down thursday night with that guest though - did george just cut him loose and then decide it would be better to move on and not explain or what? sometimes i want in on the coast gossip!</div> <div> posted in <a href="http://c2cam.tribe.net">Coast to Coast AM</a> - 1 reply </div>

They just said it would stay within NASA's budget. <br/> <br/>The estimated time frame for NASA's lunar plans are: <br/> <br/>2009 — a first test of one of the lunar spaceships. <br/> <br/>2014 — the first manned test flight of the Orion crew exploration vehicle, but no moon landing. <br/> <br/>2020 — the first flight of the four-astronaut crew to the moon. <br/> <br/>For four years, the lunar base won't be built up enough for long visits, so astronauts will only spend a week at a time. But after that, NASA envisions people living on the moon for six-month stints. <br/> <br/>NASA also hopes that hydrogen, oxygen and other moon resources can be used as supplies for the lunar outpost. Eventually, getting oxygen there may be simple enough that it could be turned over to a commercial supplier, Horowitz said. <br/> <br/>NASA's vision for the moon is more than just American astronauts — it includes space travelers from other countries and even commercial interests, if possible. <br/> <br/>Having other countries sign onto the project would save NASA money, although the United States will design the moon vehicles, NASA Deputy Administrator Shana Dale said. And while NASA welcomed its current partners on the international space station — Russia, Europe and Japan — the agency was cagey about its most enigmatic space rival, China, which has made noises about going to the moon. <br/> <br/>NASA Administrator Michael Griffin was dispatched to China earlier this year, but so far discussions with China are only about earth science and space junk, Dale said. She said including China in lunar plans is "not one of our charges." <br/> <br/>The key decision for NASA in its planning was whether to have a permanent settlement, and that drove other decisions, Dale said. Going with a permanent base was an outcome of NASA asking itself and more than 1,000 experts from 14 nations the questions: "Why are we returning to the moon and what we plan to do when we get there?" <br/> <br/>Two key themes, according to NASA, were to prepare for future exploration, with Mars the next stop, and expansion of human civilization. Both NASA's science and engineering communities agreed on a permanent outpost, an agreement rare for two conflicting sides of the agency, Horowitz said. <br/> <br/>The lunar plan calls for a commitment of money over the next three presidential terms, raising questions about future funding. But University of Texas aerospace engineering professor Hans Mark, a former NASA deputy administrator, gives the new plan an 80 percent chance of getting the money to put people on the moon by 2020. <br/> <br/>While a more permanent base on the moon makes sense, American University public policy professor Howard McCurdy, who has written several books about NASA, fears the space program may stop there and not continue with President Bush's plans to continue to Mars. <br/> <br/>His concern is based on cost and technology, McCurdy said. NASA doesn't plan to get additional money for its lunar program and will simply use money that had gone to the space shuttle program; much of the technology is based on expensive Apollo hardware, he said. Choi <br/>Special to LiveScience <br/>posted: 29 November 2006 <br/>10:28 am ET <br/> <br/> <br/>Scientists have now levitated small live animals using sounds that are, well, uplifting. <br/> <br/>In the past, researchers at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an, China, used ultrasound fields to successfully levitate globs of the heaviest solid and liquid—iridium and mercury, respectively. The aim of their work is to learn how to manufacture everything from pharmaceuticals to alloys without the aid of containers. At times compounds are too corrosive for containers to hold, or they react with containers in other undesirable ways. <br/> <br/> <br/>"An interesting question is, 'What will happen if a living animal is put into the acoustic field?' Will it also be stably levitated?" researcher Wenjun Xie, a materials physicist at Northwestern Polytechnical University, told LiveScience. <br/> <br/>Xie and his colleagues employed an ultrasound emitter and reflector that generated a sound pressure field between them. The emitter produced roughly 20-millimeter-wavelength sounds, meaning it could in theory levitate objects half that wavelength or less. <br/> <br/>After the investigators got the ultrasound field going, they used tweezers to carefully place animals between the emitter and reflector. The scientists found they could float ants, beetles, spiders, ladybugs, bees, tadpoles and fish up to a little more than a third of an inch long in midair. When they levitated the fish and tadpole, the researchers added water to the ultrasound field every minute via syringe. <br/> <br/>The levitated ant tried crawling in the air and struggled to escape by rapidly flexing its legs, although it generally failed because its feet find little purchase in the air. The ladybug tried flying away but also failed when the field was too strong to break away from. <br/> <br/>"We must control the levitation force carefully, because they try to fly away," Xie said. "An interesting moment was when my colleagues and I had to catch escaping ladybugs." <br/> <br/>The ant and ladybug appeared fine after 30 minutes of levitation, although the fish did not fare as well, due to the inadequate water supply, the scientists report. <br/> <br/>"Our results may provide some methods or ideas for biology research," Xie said. <div>(i snagged this article off of about.com - article url: http://paranormal.about.com/library/weekly/aa011402a.htm ... i got there from the show listing for Wednesday December 14th, 2005 on the coast to coast website... just some interesting stuff i thought...) <br/> <br/>Over the last few hundred years, many perplexing artifacts have been unearthed that do not fit the currently accepted theories of geology and the history of man. <br/> <br/>The Bible tells us that God created Adam and Eve just a few thousand years ago, by some fundamentalist interpretations. Science informs us that this is mere fiction and that man is a few million years old, and that civilization just tens of thousands of years old. Could it be, however, that conventional science is just as mistaken as the Bible stories? There is a great deal of archeological evidence that the history of life on earth might be far different than what current geological and anthropological texts tell us. Consider these astonishing finds: <br/> <br/>The Grooved Spheres <br/>Over the last few decades, miners in South Africa have been digging up mysterious metal spheres. Origin unknown, these spheres measure approximately an inch or so in diameter, and some are etched with three parallel grooves running around the equator. Two types of spheres have been found: one is composed of a solid bluish metal with flecks of white; the other is hollowed out and filled with a spongy white substance. The kicker is that the rock in which they where found is Precambrian - and dated to 2.8 billion years old! Who made them and for what purpose is unknown. <br/> <br/>The Dropa Stones <br/>In 1938, an archeological expedition led by Dr. Chi Pu Tei into the Baian-Kara-Ula mountains of China made an astonishing discovery in some caves that had apparently been occupied by some ancient culture. Buried in the dust of ages on the cave floor were hundreds of stone disks. Measuring about nine inches in diameter, each had a circle cut into the center and was etched with a spiral groove, making it look for all the world like some ancient phonograph record some 10,000 to 12,000 years old. The spiral groove, it turns out, is actually composed of tiny hieroglyphics that tell the incredible story of spaceships from some distant world that crash-landed in the mountains. The ships were piloted by people who called themselves the Dropa, and the remains of whose descendents, possibly, were found in the cave. <br/> <br/>The Ica Stones <br/>Beginning in the 1930s, the father of Dr. Javier Cabrera, Cultural Anthropologist for Ica, Peru, discovered many hundreds of ceremonial burial stones in the tombs of the ancient Incas. Dr. Cabrera, carrying on his father's work, has collected more than 1,100 of these andesite stones, which are estimated to be between 500 and 1,500 years old and have become known collectively as the Ica Stones. The stones bear etchings, many of which are sexually graphic (which was common to the culture), some picture idols and others depict such practices as open-heart surgery and brain transplants. The most astonishing etchings, however, clearly represent dinosaurs - brontosaurs, triceratops (see photo), stegosaurus and pterosaurs. While skeptics consider the Ica Stones a hoax, their authenticity has neither been proved or disproved. <br/> <br/>The Antikythera Mechanism <br/>A perplexing artifact was recovered by sponge-divers from a shipwreck in 1900 off the coast of Antikythera, a small island that lies northwest of Crete. The divers brought up from the wreck a great many marble and and bronze statues that had apparently been the ship's cargo. Among the findings was a hunk of corroded bronze that contained some kind of mechanism composed of many gears and wheels. Writing on the case indicated that it was made in 80 B.C., and many experts at first thought it was an astrolabe, an astronomer's tool. An x-ray of the mechanism, however, revealed it to be far more complex, containing a sophisticated system of differential gears. Gearing of this complexity was not known to exist until 1575! It is still unknown who constructed this amazing instrument 2,000 years ago or how the technology was lost. <br/> <br/>The Baghdad Battery <br/>Today batteries can be found in any grocery, drug, convenience and department store you come across. Well, here's a battery that's 2,000 years old! Known as the Baghdad Battery, this curiosity was found in the ruins of a Parthian village believed to date back to between 248 B.C. and 226 A.D. The device consists of a 5-1/2-inch high clay vessel inside of which was a copper cylinder held in place by asphalt, and inside of that was an oxidized iron rod. Experts who examined it concluded that the device needed only to be filled with an acid or alkaline liquid to produce an electric charge. It is believed that this ancient battery might have been used for electroplating objects with gold. If so, how was this technology lost... and the battery not rediscovered for another 1,800 years? <br/> <br/>The Coso Artifact <br/>While mineral hunting in the mountains of California near Olancha during the winter of 1961, Wallace Lane, Virginia Maxey and Mike Mikesell found a rock, among many others, that they thought was a geode - a good addition for their gem shop. Upon cutting it open, however, Mikesell found an object inside that seemed to be made of white porcelain. In the center was a shaft of shiny metal. Experts estimated that, if this was a geode, it should have taken about 500,000 years for this fossil-encrusted nodule to form, yet the object inside was obviously of sophisticated human manufacture. Further investigation revealed that the porcelain was surround by a hexagonal casing, and an x-ray revealed a tiny spring at one end, like a spark plug. There's a bit of controversy around this artifact, as you can imagine. Some contend that the artifact was not inside a geode at all, but encased in hardened clay. The artifact itself has been identified by experts as a 1920s-era Champion spark plug. Unfortunately, the Coso Artifact has gone missing and cannot be thoroughly examined. Is there a natural explanation for it? Or was it found, as the discoverer claimed, inside a geode? If so, how could a 1920s sparkplug get inside a 500,000-year-old rock? <br/> <br/>Ancient Model Aircraft <br/>There are artifacts belonging to ancient Egyptian and Central American cultures that look amazingly like modern-day aircraft. The Egyptian artifact, found in a tomb at Saqquara, Egypt in 1898, is a six-inch wooden object that strongly resembles a model airplane, with fuselage, wings and tail. Experts believe the object is so aerodynamic that it is actually able to glide. The small object discovered in Central America (shown at right), and estimated to be 1,000 years old, is made of gold and could easily be mistaken for a model of a delta-wing aircraft - or even the Space Shuttle. It even features what looks like a pilot's seat. <br/> <br/>Giant Stone Balls of Costa Rica <br/>Workmen hacking and burning their way through the dense jungle of Costa Rica to clear an area for banana plantations in the 1930s stumbled upon some incredible objects: dozens of stone balls, many of which were perfectly spherical. They varied in size from as small as a tennis ball to an astonishing 8 feet in diameter and weighing 16 tons! Although the great stone balls are clearly man-made, it is unknown who made them, for what purpose and, most puzzling, how they achieved such spherical precision. <br/> <br/>Impossible Fossils <br/>Fossils, as we learned in grade school, appear in rocks that were formed many thousands of years ago. Yet there are a number of fossils that just don't make geological or historical sense. A fossil of a human handprint, for example, was found in limestone estimated to be 110 million years old. What appears to be a fossilized human finger found in the Canadian Arctic also dates back 100 to 110 million years ago. And what appears to be the fossil of a human footprint, possibly wearing a sandal, was found near Delta, Utah in a shale deposit estimated to be 300 million to 600 million years old. <br/> <br/>Out-of-Place Metal Objects <br/>Humans were not even around 65 million years ago, never mind people who could work metal. So then how does science explain semi-ovoid metallic tubes dug out of 65-million-year-old Cretaceous chalk in France? In 1885, a block of coal was broken open to find a metal cube obviously worked by intelligent hands. In 1912, employees at an electric plant broke apart a large chunk of coal out of which fell an iron pot! A nail was found embedded in a sandstone block from the Mesozoic Era. And there are many, many more such anomalies. <br/> <br/>What are we to make of these finds? At the time, the place was featuring that masterwork of modern film, Mortal Kombat. I drove by the theater on the way into the center proper and pulled into an empty parking space. <br/> <br/>Using the glow of the marquee to write out my check, I was startled to hear a knock on the driver's-side window of my car. <br/> <br/>I looked over and saw two children staring at me from street. Both were boys, and my initial impression is that they were somewhere between 10-14. <br/> <br/>Boy No. 1 was the spokesman. Boy No. 2 didn't speak during the entire conversation -- at least not in words. <br/> <br/>Boy No. 1 was slightly taller than his companion, wearing a pull-over, hooded shirt with a sort of gray checked pattern and jeans. I couldn't see his shoes. His skin was olive-colored and had curly, medium-length brown hair. He exuded an air of quiet confidence. <br/> <br/>Boy No. 2 had pale skin with a trace of freckles. His command of language was incredible and he showed no signs of fear. He spoke as if my help was a foregone conclusion.
